  2. First & foremost, I'm a product junkie! But most importantly, I'm trying to see what products I can add to my arsenal to result in the world's most awesomest twist-out! LOL!

    Happy Monday!

  3. Well the name sounds delicious so i would definetly like my hair to benefit from such a delicious product lol but more seriously , i'm trying to transition my hair from relaxed to natural and don't really know where to start with the products i should use...this would be a great start i believe! And i know my natural hair texture is pretty curly so i want to take care of that!
    Thanks

  4. I love your site Nik! I am just learning about moisturizing and sealing and would love to use this as a leave-in!!

  5. I'm on the hunt for a product that would help to create more hold with my twist-outs. I have yet to try any butter based products so this one would be nice.

  6. I'm currently looking for a new twisting product. Right now, I've been using Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in Repair Cream, but too much makes my face breakout and the amount that I have to use currently seems to leave my hair lacking moisture. Less is more with my face so I'm looking to try a product that's a little thicker so I can continue to use less product and maintain clear skin.

  7. I'm currently transtioning. (I actually cut off the relaxed ends in the back...so it's all natural in the back.) I've been rodsetting the front and doing wash and gos for the back. I'm learning that wash and gos should NOT be my "go-to" style. I think that twist-outs would be the option for me. I personally prefer defined twistouts. I've heard great things about Bee Mine products, so I'd like to give it a try.

  8. I am currently transitioning...aka I'm a product junkie. I haven't currently found any products that hold my twist outs very well so I'd like to try a new product.

    Thanks

  9. I would love to win the Bee MIne Curly Butter! I am in the process of taking my singles down and would like to try my first twist-out! YIKES!! I'm nervous but yet VERY excited! I've began ordering items..as a matter of fact I just rec'd my Oyins Juice and Berries! (by the way, that stuff smells so good I almost want to taste it!) LOL!! Anywho, I'm making my way to my local indian grocer in hopes of finding the Vatika Oil...If I could win at least ONE of the items, that would free up a some cash to buy some of the other things I'm going to need. Again, thanks for all that you do in keeping a sista motivated on this journey!

  10. I am not a new natural rather, i am new to the whole 'take-good-care-of-your-hair-thing', so im really interested in products that will help maintain moisture and bring out my tiny coils.

  11. I would love to try this butter b/c all I have heard are great things about this product. I have been transitioning for over 2 years and I am finally preparing myself to finally cut my relaxed ends sometime between September and December. With all the great reviews, I believe this would be a great product to have through the end of my transition well into my natural life.

  12. I would love to try a product that ive heard SO many great reviews about!!

  13. I really hope I win it! I was going to purchase it after your review but was waiting to see if a sale was on the horizon since Labor Day is coming up. So many people gave it rave reviews but your ultra defined twist out had me sold.

I'm currently transitioning coming up on 11 months post. I'm dying to chop but I'm a lil nervous about styling it so short (even though I've had short hair before). So I'm gonna keep on transitioning for now and I plan on using the curly butter to do twist-outs on my half and half hair. I've been looking for something with more hold and definition. Hoping to make it to 18 months before chopping :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I want to try it, because I need long lasting moisture. I have a lot of products that promise moisture, but don't deliver. I've heard nothing but great things about the Curly Butter. I plan to use it to keep my protective styles moisturized as well as for defined twist outs.

  17. When it comes to my natural hair i am CONFUSED.....confused on the products to try and confused how what to do with my hair. I am trying to take a break from wearing weaves and want to be in the process of embracing my natural hair but i have NO CLUE what so ever in what i should use....Hopefully this will give me a push in that area. :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. i would love to try it because as one of the readers above said alot of products do tell you that they'll keep your hair moist but don't keep their promise! That curly butter seems like it would do the job. And I would work it into my regimen, which I plan on keeping the same once I find out what actually works :)

  19. I have been looking at this product for a while. After transitioning for 20 months and now being 100% Natural. I am looking for a product that i can use on new styles... I love the wash and gos, but i need something different.. If this product were in the stores im sure i would have bought it. I am a person who hates buying products offline. I like to smell and feel EVERY product! hahaha

  27. Tiatia -

For the last two years I have been abusing my hair...wearing skull pulling ponytails - flat ironing more than once a week - sleeping without a hair scarf and unknowingly scrubbing my scalp with SLS. My hair needs a break and reinvention. I have completely natural hair that's screaming for a moisture resurrection. Im currently experimenting with Organikah Hair Whip/Paul Mitchel's Quick Slip/ and PhytoSPecific...but the way I see it. A head full of curly hair can NEVER have enough products. I've been lurking on Bee Mine's site for awhile and am interested in giving them a go. :)

  28. My 12 yo daughter (TaMara)is currently transitioning (10 mths) and is your hair twin. She loves your blog and looks to you as a source of inspiration. She LOVED the outcome of your hair when you used the Bee Mine products. She'd be excited to use them as well. Thanks!

  29. I would like to try this product because... i'm about the reach my 3rd year as a natural (sept 14th) and I'm feeling discouraged.. moisture issue... and i'm in the process of considering locs as my way out.. I believe it would cut down the hair stress by 50%...

  31. I'm currently transitioning. However, it's quite hard to so at an easy pace when you want to try products; but, you can't afford it. I'm an unemployed teacher here in Los Angeles and I just need a pick me up. I used Bee Mine Growth Serum and I liked it. I simply want to try the butter for my hair staples of buns, braid outs, and flexirod sets.

    Peace, Love, and Hair Grease.

  32. I wanna find a butter that doesn't just sit on my hair. One that penetrates and holds the moisture in. I've been using gel for definition and hold and I really wanna start eliminating that from y regimen. Hopefully it does wonders me like it does for you :)

  33. I would LOVE to try the Bee Mine Be Hold Curly Butter!!! I am a TRUE product junkie & have an arsenal of products that have not worked for me. 35. (my first attempt at this failed,
    so we're gonna try again!)

after four months of being completely natural,
my hair only has a curl in select sections.
i would use this product to help define curls in a wash and go,
    and also for my twistouts.

  36. I would love to try it because I have almost no products to use in my hair and if I won I would be able to try a new product out. I'm down to just Aloe Vera Gel.

  37. Just celebrated my 2 year Nappiversary this month and I have yet to try any other style but 2 strand twists and twist-outs. I'd LOVE to win this product so I can try something new with my hair. My staple is shea butter and water and I'm curious to try something on my hair that I've never tried before.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yay ever since you've mentioned it in your video I have wanted to give it a try. I'm getting bored with usual bantu knot twist outs and would love to rock a more defined and smaller twist but I don't have a product with hold AND moisture to achieve that look. I would only hope to be a lucky winner;0)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I've always wanted to try it! I've had awesome remarks about the product. I'm on the hunt for a moisturizing product that give me hold....it's either it holds or it moisturize but never both :( So I wanna be the winner!

  40. Hallo ha! I would really like to to try the Bee Mine Be Hold Curly Butter because I am yet to find a product that really works for me re twistouts. I've been using my own homemade mix as I haven't been able to find a product that works, so I would be interested to see how this product would fare with my hair. As stated, I plan to use it for twistouts and braidouts on my hair, and hopefully achieve the same look that you do in your videos and tutorials.

If I do not re-wet my hair during the day when I wear my wash-n-go's (via not drying my hands when i wash them but running them through my hair instead lol), my hair becomes dry and crunchy. I would loooveee to try out this porduct and do a product review and post it on my new baby > http://naturallymoii.onsugar.com/

  71. Twist outs are my staple style so I'm always looking for products that will not only give me the look I want (shine, definition, non-shrinkage)but also make my hair feel soft to the touch. Not to mention that I'm on a mission to get second and third day hair on the first day! (Is that even possible?) Well, it sounds from your review and the reviews of others that the Bee Hold Curly Butter might help me on my quest!

    ReplyDelete
  72. As I travel down the yellow brick road of follow this, do that, try me, cut that... I find that reading about the success of other's can be, seems to be, IS.. overwhelming at times. No one talks about the real struggles, or the small things that they experienced when trying a "Twist out" or how horrible it feels to sleep with cold wave rods in your hair every night to achieve the one look you've convinced yourself is perfect... for now that is

As a newbie to this wonderful world of fro's, braids, twist and shouts... I would be interested in trying out this product just to see how it will make a difference, and if it will FINALLY become a staple product that I can love for forever more. If not.. I'm sure I have plenty of room for a new product to sit under my sink.. Moooove over Kinky Curly Custard!!

    Kind regards,

  75. Hey! I would love to try this product because I've promised myself to stop buying new products so if I "win" it, I won't be breaking my word! lol!!! One of the ways I would use it would be to TRY to get this hair to bang-hang! I've tried other products but my hair still comes out bangless; so I'm hoping this product will provide the necessary hold WITH definition and softness!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm transitioning, and I've heard so many good things about this product. I would love to rock a cute twist out.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I am 25 months transitioning without trims or the big chop so I would love to try this out in the hopes of it blending my 2 different textures together.
I've heard so many great reviews, it looks so rich, smooth and creamy I must try it lol.
I will shampoo my hair, use my vegetable glycerin mix leave-in or yes to cucumbers conditioner as a leave-in then apply the curly butter on very damp hair and braid for a braid out.
I've seen such beautiful results on every person that has tried this product so it seems very promising.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I want to use it to prolong the life of my braid outs, bantu knot outs, and twist out. I plan to use it for those styles.

  82. I have actually just started looking for a new butter for my twists and this was on my list of things to try! I currently use Afroveda and am looking to try something different that might give me a bit more shine and movement. After seeing your review I said I had to sample it. Maybe I'll get lucky and win it instead! ;o)

  83. as a st.lucian it is impossible to get products for natural hair so im stuck with using products that contain harsh ingredients against my will.. winning this contests would mean that i can finally get a product to define my curls and i dont have to rely on leave in cond. that do nothing for my hair

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'm looking for a good product that will enhance my curls and do so while leaving my hair well moisturized as well. I would like to see if this product works well on my type of hair.

  85. First as a sidenote I would like to let you know you have inspired me to do many things not only with my hair, but myself as a person. I am interested in trying products that will cater to my hair as I go through my transition. Initially, I decided to go natural because of the pretty and unique hair styles, but as I go through this journey with my hair I am growing to love my curls and my hair in its natural state.I am no longer in love with the straight/relaxed styles most of our culture embraces. I'm in love with this new hair, this kinky, unique hair that is mine; which I realize now is a part of me. It's unique to me and I love it. As I embrace this "new me" I am searching for products to cater to and moisturize my hair, while helping me with my flexi-rod/twist-out sets. I am debating on Carol's Daughter Hair Milk or shopping around for more options. I would love to add this product to a possible part of my hair-care regimen as I take my journey to natural beauty.

  88. I want to try this product because im in a BIG need for a hair butter that works for me. Since I am a college student, trying every option on the market is not much of a choice for me right now. I have been looking at this product for sometime now so if I won it I would be very much in lala land lol. So would my curly hair!

    Love you blog!

  94. I NEED to try this product becuz I recently cut my hair and I mainly wear it in its natural state (minus a few ends that still hold the texturizer). With my new 'do, my style lasts 1-2 days tops. The Bee Hold Curly Butter will help to maintain the style while aiding in the growing out of the texturizer.
So not only do I want to try it out I need to lol :)
    thanks

  95. I would love to try this for my twist-outs in the winter time... When I saw your review on this curly butter...I told myself that I have to try this shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...You know what I mean...I read on the website that it helps promote hair growth so I wonder with continued use that it will help retain length... With my hair being longer I am worried how my ends will be like transitioning into fall..then into winter....I also saw the before and after pics of some lady transitioning to natural on their website and her hair looks great... From the great reviews I have seen and read...I am soooo curious!!

I currently only wear wash-n-go's and my dearest mom has been raving about her braid outs(you inspired her) and how I should be open to not only new products(self-confessed product junkie) but new styles as well. Huge fan of Uncle funky's daughter, Cantu, Original Fragrance Shop- I'd love to add something that imparts shine, hold and my favorite scent coconut. Not to mention my curls could use a little more moisture...

I think i am going to have to try your method b/c your hair type is very similar to mind.
This is the reason why i would like to try the product again

I COULD DEF add this to my list 'o products. I believe this will give me fantastic results as far as definition and hold with these twist outs I've been doing.

  114. It would be great to try and see how this product would benefit my hair. Ive been natural for about 10 years now, getting my hair pressed, and braids. When I made the decision to stop relaxing(when I was a teenager)I really didn't know where to start. I thought that inorder to "grow my hair long" I had to wear braids, and that only girls with 'good hair' could wear their hair curly and natural. Now as an adult I'm really starting to research all natural products and how to bring out my natural curl and really start to enjoy the natural texture that God gave me. Saying good bye to the standard of beauty that society has set up for young women and learning how to embrace my God given natural beauty inside and out.

  146. I just celebrated 6 months post-BC on Aug. 26th and I am STILL looking for prods to try. I've heard great things about Bee Hold from others and I'd like to use something other than my Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding. I am trying not to become a prod junkie like a few of my other natural friends but it's becoming hard. The only thing that stops me is not having enough cash :(

  150. Hello Nikole,

I would like to try Bee Mine Bee Hold Curl Butter, because I am looking for a product that defines curls and tame frizz. I use Miss Jessie Curl Pudding and Komaza Cailfa creme as an aid when twisting my hair. These products work extremely well (thanks for the recommendation), however my twist out only last 2-3 days. Most weeks, I am extremely busy and I feel annoyed because I have to stay up all night to prep my hair for the next day. Please help! Thanks!

  151. I am curly challenged! Nothing provides a definition and hold to my curls! It's like a give get, sometimes a product gives me a little hold and then I get flakes or build up. I've tried literally EVERYTHING but now that I am broke and out of college I can't afford to try anything else!

Thanks for Hosting this contest btw!

  156. I have been wanting to try their line of products, but have never gotten around to choosing which one I want to invest in. I am currently using a moisturizing mango and olive oil butter by Elasta QP and trying to decide it I want to use it as my staple product for my braid outs or not. Trying the Bee Hold Butter will allow me to try something new and see if I like the results of it. Because the winter months are coming soon in my area, I want to be able to build up my winter regimen with a good styling product that will make my hair LASSSSST!

  157. I recently bought the Bee Mine hair milk and it is a great product. I want to try the Bee Hold Curly Butter, but as a broke college student I cannot keep buying pricey hair products.

  158. I would like to try the Bee Hold Curly Butter for my twistouts for both moisture and hold

    ReplyDelete
  159. When using the Bee Hold curl Butter shrinkage is not a problem! Of course length doesn't always have to be a factor for my hair style choice but I would love to see my beautiful brown coils unshrunken in a twist out. Besides that i would see this buzzing product for a pin up twist style!

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'd love to try this because thanks to your blog and other, I'm finally doing spoiling my hair the way she deserves to be spoiled! Although I've been transitioning since last May, I recently discovered hair blogs, and have noticed the positive change in my hair. I'm currently trying to develop my own personal regimen, and I'd love to make Bee Mine Be Hold Curly Butter a part of it!! ♥

  162. I would love to win this product because even though I've been natural for about 3 years I am only now starting to take care of my hair and realize its potential (thanks to the natural hair community online and women like you with incredible inspirational hair). I am a broke grad student so I don't have the budget to experiment with amazing products like the ones by Bee Mine.

  163. i would love to try this product. i have heard rave reviews about this product. i have wanted to try it but is pricey. i have been natural since april 1st 2010. i am still trying to find the right products for my 4b type hair, which has been frustrating. this product could work wonders for me.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Oooh I'd love to try this product! I've been natural my whole life and have never considered relaxing despite being taunted for my 'nappy' hair. So for ages I've always worn braids but not kept them in the best condition. I want to start wearing my hair out again; as I've heard nothing but praise for this butter (+ its all natural ingredients) I think its a must have for soft soft soft defined hair!

Plus I'm a broke student in the UK...not sure how I'd get it otherwise...

    ReplyDelete
  165. I would like the products for my twist and twist outs. I have been natural for over a year and I am still having a hard time finding the proper product for my hair. so I would love to see if this product would be my lucky product.

  166. It would be great if I could try this product because I've been looking for a hair butter that uses organic products. I plan to use it on my faviourite style so far on my short hair -- bantu knots unravelled! Usually the style lasts for only a day because my hair gets dry so easily no matter what I use...hopefully if I win and am able to try out the product that won't be the case =). Thanks for the contest!!!

  167. If i win this I would make me so happy because im 15 and decided on going natural!I did my research on this product and I think it will make my Bantu knots, twist out and braid outs last and hold longer than usual.Usually when I started doing these styles my hair by the second day would frizz up!By gods grace you would choose me!!

ps:I love your hair and your style!Hopefully my ends up being as gorgeous as yours when my hair is 100% natural!:)

  170. I currently am in my 4th month post BC...I still have a TWA, but I think ,y hair is too short to rock a twist out in public...lol. I would plan to use the product for my twist out, since this is my main hairstyle until it grows a few more inches!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  171. I would love to win this product for two main reasons:

    1) The results you showed in your review were beautiful! The definition and description of the moisturization (is that a word?) make me think this product will help me master the art of the twist/braid-out. I would probably also add the product to my regular line-up in place of one of my oil products that seem to be building up more often recently...

    2) I'm a broke student, so if i don't win the product, I won't get the product. Times are hard and the financial aid office is unforgiving...

I know you're using a random selector, so I hope this has at least brought something interesting to read for ya :-)

I have heard about Bee Mine a lot the past couple of months and how great their curly butter is. I want to try the curly butter because I heard it is great for 4a/4b hair as far as hold and mositurizer. I still have not found a product where I can have a decent twist/braid-out. I plan on using it as a styler and mositurizer for my twists and protective styles.

  196. Hey MopTop,

I would like to try the Bee Hold Curly Butter because it sounds like a wonderful product! The ingredients sound wholesome and uber natural too. So far from the description I read, me likey!! If I had this product I would mostly use it for twisting my hair because that is how my hair is the majority of the time; it's a convenience thing, lol. The Bee Hold Butter sounds like it would provide a lasting hold without the crunchiness of gels, while at the same time be moisturizing.

    ReplyDelete
  197. I want top try it because Ive never tried it before. simple as that. lol

    ReplyDelete
  198. I would love to try it beacause I have yet to find a product that gives me awesome twist/braid outs. Also most of these companies charge $15 to $20 for shipping, when they could easily charge under $10 i they used the postal service. Also it perplexes me that honeyfig located in Toronto has a 100% markup and uses the excuse of the currency exchange.
funny thing is there's not that much of a diference between the US and Canadian dollar. It's a shame.

    ReplyDelete
  199. I would love to try the Bee Mine Curl Hold Butter! I have heard nothing but good reviews about it, and it sounds like it would be the perfect addition to my twists routine. I would also use it for braid outs and bantu-knot-outs, and even a dab or two for regular wash n gos!

  200. My daughter and I are currently transitioning together and she has the most beautiful coils. She is just getting to love her natural hair and I want to teach her how to style her hair. I have yet to find a butter that will hold her twistouts well and moisturize at the same time, and hope this may do just that.
