Since I'm starting to leave the TWA stage, I see me with these earrings on while my hair is up so they are sure to be seen! :)
ReplyDeleteI plan on wearing my natural hair in a funky updo with a rolled bang that sits up high for added interest. Therefore the main focus is on the beautiful earrings and how the accentuate the neck, face, and of course the hair!
ReplyDeleteI plan on rocking a twist out with the left side pinned up.
ReplyDeleteThese earrings are deserving of nothing less than a big, curly afro or fabulous twist/braid out.
ReplyDeleteLovely earrings! I would wear by hair loosely pulled back half up and a little down in the back. Maybe with a little bump up top. Better yet a wild Mohawk style...the possibilities are endless.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new line! I'm almost 13 months post and plan on BC'ing in December. I can't wait to wear a pair of your earrings with my newly natural hair. I'm thinking mini twists or a twist out!
ReplyDeleteThese are simply beautiful. I would just simply pull my hair back into a sleek pony tail to show case these earrings.
ReplyDeleteThe earrings are A.MA.ZING! I'm on a six month protective style deal so I couldn't rock my fro. instead, I'd do a simple bun with a center part and let the earrings get all the attention. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to wear them with a big high bun.
ReplyDeleteI would showcase these beautiful earrings by wearing a fro hawk twist out:)
ReplyDeleteI vision myself wearing these earrings with my hair in two flat twists, with a part in the middle. I'd pin the ends of the two flat twists into a neat bun! Effortless and Elegant to showcase the earrings!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful earrings Nikole!

ReplyDeleteI would show off these blue and ochre earrings with an upside down french braid (braided up to the crown of my head and pinned) with a curly braid-out bang.
ReplyDeleteI must show off the earrings, so I would pull my hair back into a nice full bun;)
ReplyDeleteWell I have a TWA which doesn't allow for many styling options but I can tell you that these earrings would look wonderful with a cognac colored leather blazer and a pair of matching boots especially for the winter time.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I absolutely love your blog! Thus why it is on TOP in the blog roll on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI love these earrings in the Brick and Wheat and I would rock them with my hair in a two-strand twist up do! This would allow them to be the highlight of my look really!
I plan to wear these earrings with a fro-hawk twistout. They will be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteoooh, so so pretty! I know I will rock the HECK out of the white and aquamarine hoops with a neutral outfit (black and white or gray to let the color POP) and the curliest, fluffiest, roundest afro I can manage. *Runs to twist hair in preparation*
ReplyDeleteI will wear an up-do to showcase those earrings. I fell in love with this pair when you opened the store. The up-do style plus this pair of earrings, we make me look like the Africa princess I was destined to me...wow...lol...i am going gugugaga for these...
ReplyDeleteI love these earrings. They are so original and that is what I like to wear. I would wear them with my hair down letting the earring peak through for people to take a extra look at them. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I would wear my hair in a high tight bun with ends tucked. That way the earrings will be the main attraction!
ReplyDeletethese earrings are just too much and would love to wear them while out and about. I would wear my hair up in the overlapping 7 layered buns
ReplyDeleteWith a big curly afro. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the hair!!! Do tell how u get it like that...Love the earrings too!!! Must order :0)
ReplyDeleteFirst things first...i LOOOOVE (as in drooling love) your hair! I cannot wait for my hair to grow out!
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, I'll wear some loose curls and rock the heck outta these babies :)
On my way to check out your other creations!
I just cut my hair into a mohawk, so the earrings will be visible as my hair is really low. I have a perfect outfit that enhances these earrings :D :D :D!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso I'm not on facebook, am I still eligible?
I would wear these earrings with my super curly wash and go because my hair is still like 6 inches in length. I believe this will also be the best way to showcase the earrings because they will stand out beautifully without being overpowered by my hair :)
ReplyDeleteLove your collection! I would wear my hair in a high, messy bun and allow the earrings to be showcased. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI would wear these with my hair blown out!! I love a big bouncing fro!! your pieces are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI would rock my huge afro with shimmery strawberry blonde highlights! I love my fro.
ReplyDeletePeople know I love unique jewelry so I'll definitely flaunt these at a beach party coming up in December for new years (i'm from Trinidad and Tobago), with a cute harem pants jumper and some cute gold sandals! Of course I wont need any other jewelry (maybe some simple gold bangles) because they're fabulous on their own. I can see it now...my new earrings next to my glowing skin (thanks to the great natural skin remedies you shared with us)! :)
ReplyDeleteI would wear these earrings w/ a fresh braid out. Nice and big w/ curly ends! LOVE the earrings!!
ReplyDeleteIn order for the earrings to stand out and not hidden behind my hair, i would put my hair up into a faux hawk
ReplyDeleteWell I have a short jagged cut (my hair is relaxed) so I know these earrings would stand out! People know I love unique jewelry so I'll definitely flaunt these at a beach party coming up in December for new years (i'm from Trinidad and Tobago), with a cute harem pants jumper and some cute gold sandals! Of course I wont need any other jewelry (maybe some simple gold bangles) because they're fabulous on their own. I can see it now...my new earrings next to my glowing skin (thanks to the great natural skin remedies you shared with us)! :) I GOT CARRIED AWAY!! I love these earrings! eeek!!!
ReplyDelete...A Big Beautiful Puff.
ReplyDeleteThese earrings - and the others in the collection - are just gorgeous! I think I'd do a scarf headband with fat twists pinned in an updo.
ReplyDeletehmmm...honestly I don't know how I would wear my hair when wearing these earrings. But if I had to choose I would have my hair covered in a head wrap with the sole focus being on the earrings...they are such a statement piece in themselves, so simplicity would be key for me.
ReplyDeleteI will rock a big fluffy bun (from a twist out so it will have some funk) and slick back the edges to nicely display the earrings.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous earrings. I'd wear them with a twist out pinned up in the back with curls in the front for "bangs".
ReplyDeleteup until a month ago all of my natural styles were pulled back and rather demure because im surrounded by traditionally conservative people (who are great btw). however, i recently discovered how much i love my BIG BOUNCY hair so i plan on rockin these with the fluffiest 'fro that i can manage. thats right people, gon' on and stare!
ReplyDeletePretty earrings. i plan to BC soon after I remove this sew in so this earring ill be nice to rock with my new natural hair!!!
ReplyDeleteAurelie
I'm wearing my hair twisted up for the Fall/Winter so a flat twisted updo would definitely be my hairstyle of choice this season. I'd be sure to crochet a fly scarf to go with these fabulous earrings!
ReplyDeleteI plan on wearing my hair all pulled to one side with flat twists all the way to the middle and then braided into a funky updo
ReplyDeleteI have been wearing my hair in a high bun for fall/winter. Because the look is so simple, I enjoy dressing up my look with great accent pieces. Those earrings would compliment my bun very well.
ReplyDeleteI have never been an expert of the braidout, they would come out frizzy and limp, and they were always lacking in volume. Three weeks ago I decided to visit your page and search for braid out techniques, WELL, now I get the most beautiful braidouts thanks to YOU! Spraying with water REALLY makes a difference!!! So, when I win the earrings(yes I also believe in speaking things into my life :) I plan to wear a beautiful braidout updo (up in the back and out and BIG in front) to showoff the spectacular earrings!
ReplyDeleteand FYI sista girl...You are wearing that hair style!!
ReplyDeleteThese earrings are too cute. I would rock these with a fluffy braid and curl mohawk. SN: I like Fankk & Myrrh on FB (Moni Knits)
ReplyDeleteThe earrings are larger than I thought which is GREAT. How will I wear my hair? Well it has to be pulled up or back to show off the earrings! So I'd do a puffy pony tail. One of my fav easy styles that has lots of volume but leaves lots of room for the earrings to be the highlight!
ReplyDeleteI will rock these earrings with a fresh twist out with the sides pinned back so the earrings can be seen.
ReplyDeleteI just did my big chop so these earring would look great on me.
ReplyDeleteSince I have Sisterlocks, i would where my hair is a curly updo so that everyone can see the great masterpiece on my ears
ReplyDeletewow hun arnt you a stunner
ReplyDeleteSo many ways I could wear this earing. An afro, afro puff, afro puff with bangs, but since i'm braided up for the winter (twist braids) i'd roc it with my braids signature style.
ReplyDeleteKudos on your launch, everything looks great!! I gotta say I'm really feeling the first pair that you posted, they are gorgeous. As for me there's only one way to wear big pretty hoops like those....BIG HAIR!! LOL, I would definitely rock a twistout.
ReplyDelete-Trini_Chutney.

ReplyDeleteI'd rock these flyy (so fly it needed an extra letter) earrings with 2 simple french braids braided around the perimeter of my head with a side part.... making sure to give the earrings the spotlight they deserve!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how long I've been waiting for your store to open!
tons of curls....slicked back to the sides
ReplyDeleteLove these earrings!
ReplyDeleteI'd wear them with a pinned-up twist-out, where my hair is up & out and an angle w/some of it slightly covering my eye. I'd compliment this look with a funky white tee bedazzled w/sequins and/or stones in an artistic pattern of sort. I'd also wear my fitted jeans and my blk open-toe gathered booties. Then I'd top it w/my tan faux-leather jacket. My fav hammered silver ring and bangles to match. And Voila!
i love these earrings. they look major expensive.
ReplyDeletehow would i wear my hair with these earrings?
i would do crochet braids with marley hair (protective style) so i can have big hair and look like a modern version of diana ross. even though i look nothing like her but she is my fashion idol. :-)
congrats on your jewelry line. :-)
I would wear a high ponytail in a bun with some cute pumps. This would be a great outfit.
ReplyDelete***Love your blog***
Super sweet giveaway. I'd rock these earrings with a "flat twist in the front/twist out in the back" hairdo, a twistout or a low pony puff.
ReplyDeleteThe low ponypuff would definitely make these earrings the focal point.
The earrings are great, I had no idea they were made of sequins. Great way to resuse them! I would wear my hair in a low fancy bun (like Mane & Chic's Southern Tease Bun.)
ReplyDeleteI would wear them with a low side bun to showcase how cute they are!
ReplyDeleteI would wear them with my hair tucked into a vintage turban! I love these earring and I have been wanting to rock the turban look for a while now.
ReplyDeletewell, if I win ;) I'll have kinky twists in, so I would have my hair up in a braided up-do, with bangs to the side so I can show off the gorgeous earrings.
ReplyDeleteI would wear these when I do my "big hair reveal". I haven't shown my real hair to my co-workers EVER. I plan to change that next summer. I am in between stages (transitioning) and wouldn't feel comfortable until summer next year to show my hair. These earrings would really catapult my hair journey into a new high. They would be apart of my "big reveal."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you added some pics with you actually wearing them because I wanted to get an idea about their size.
ReplyDeleteIf I won a pair of earrings I'd definitely rock them with an updo and bold lip. I think the earrings are enough of a pop for me to not want to overpower them with a complicated hairstyle.
Beautiful! I'd rock these with a nice defined twist-out!
ReplyDeleteI would wear this with either a loose side braid, or a simple slicked back ponytail!
ReplyDeleteI would wear them with my natural hair in a grecian updo
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered the hairband a la Safiluv so I would have my hair away from my face and the back section in stretched twist_out then all neutral makeup, warm browns
ReplyDeleteI WOULD SHOW THEM OFF AND WEAR MY HAIR HALF UP WITH THE A BUMP IN THE FRONT AND THE BACK DOWN
ReplyDeleteSO EVERYBODY CAN SEE THEM AT CHURCH AND ASK!!!!
PLEASE SEND CARDS IF I WIN!
I'd rock them simply with a french braid under one of my berets. Simple chic!
ReplyDeleteI'll wearing them with a simply afro or a puff afro :) So lovely. or Frohawk.
ReplyDeleteL.xx
I am so happy that you have began your jewelery line. You are amazing in so many way. The way I would wear my hair while wearing these beautiful earrings is a gorgeous french braid or french twist up the back of my head (beginning @ the nape) and a funky pompador in the front. This style catches lots of attention on it's own but with those earrings..I would totally be a show-stoper :)
ReplyDeleteYAYY!! I live abroad so guess how happy i was to see that i can take part in this too :D
ReplyDeleteWith these type of earrings and my lenght, I would braid the sides and part of the top back so that they meet in the middle and then i'd make a big ole pompadour at the front. Maybe from a twist out so its kinda loose, wavy and slightly messy. Get what I mean? :D BTW i took a look at ur site and it had me drooling... but our import tax is killer so all i can do is follow ur updates and wish u the best.
aww shucks, most of the ladies hair(here) think alike :P OK then since i dont like looking like other ppl i'll change up my style. So, redid my hair, it's now pinned up in the back with a side fro hawk down the front. This was done on a dry twist out.
ReplyDeleteA high curly chignon bun with one pencil thin spiral curl peeking out!
ReplyDeleteI would blow my hair out and put it into the most obnoxious puff possible.
ReplyDeleteI would keep it simple and let the earrings do all the accessorizing. Id wear a big curly puff/Cinna-bun
ReplyDeleteI'd wear my first puff with them so that they can shine gorgeously! With coordinating makeup in rich hues to draw the eye completely to my face and earrings..it'd be so pretty!!
ReplyDeletei'd rock those babies with my hair piled on top of my head in an afro puff (a fake one, but mine all the same, ha!).
ReplyDeleteI'm transitioning and wear a curly french roll sometimes. I think this would be the perfect style to showcase the earrings.
ReplyDelete-Brittany L. bdl3ndc2003@yahoo.com
I think I will wear my hair in a simple bun. I want everyone to see my fab new earrings!
ReplyDeleteSince those colorful earrings would be showstoppers (love the Pangaea White & Aquamarine) I would actually wear my hair in a high bun to show them off in all their glory :)
ReplyDelete-Yvette M.
I will wear those earrings with a big curly fro with the sides pinned back to show them off!
ReplyDeleteI love love love these earrings. I would wear my hair in a flat twist updo with bang area untwisted for some funk.
ReplyDeleteI won't know until I put the earrings on! Accessories are my true inspiration for my hair and outfit. It's backwards but it works for me.
ReplyDeleteThese are definitely my favorite earrings from your line! A messy high bun would be perfect with these.
ReplyDeleteI love both of the colors especially the brick pair. So if given the chance to win I would definitely rock the gorgeous earrings with a 2 strand twist bantu knot curly fro with FIERCENESS! : )
ReplyDeleteI love the Pangaea White & Aquamarine Hoops( Aquamarine is my birthstone). I would rock them with high ponytail with a few untwisted curly spirals in the front for some dramatic texture to display the fab earrings!
ReplyDeleteI love these hoops, i wanted to buy these and then the Kenya Crescent earrings for a friend ( i left you a comment on one your posts about it being sold out :() since i have to wait i might as well try to win them!
ReplyDeletei have a year old twa and i would cornrow the right side of my hair and the back to create a tilted up do!! i even have a nice floaty blue dress to go with my look! n a pop of pink lippie! fab!
Here in Melbourne Australia its getting warmer (we are in spring) about to start summer so since the weather is so welcoming I will rock them with a fro or if my hair loves me a braid-out (Here they think fros are party wigs and try and touch my hair) so these earrings would make a statement!
ReplyDeleteI would wear my TWA in a wash n go. Since my hair is so short, the earrings will definitely pop!
ReplyDeleteI love these earrings!!! Well since I'm in my transition stage and I'm wearing Senegalese Twist, I would have to rock the earrings with my twists in a mid to high ponytail. These earrings must be noticed!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd wear these earrings with a curly puff!!!
ReplyDeleteuhhh...It was hard 2 even read the post cause ur hair looks SOOOOOO good in the photos!!...my fav style I've seen u do...I would ask how u got the look but I've got a lot of growing to go before I get to that point...anyway I would wear the earings with a big curly twisty rod set pineed up on the side (I don't get to do this often but its the biggest hair i can achieve)
ReplyDeletei will wear these earrings with my hair in a bantu knot out with one side pint up or twisted up to one side .
ReplyDeletethese earrings are gorgeous!! I'm transitioning now so I would either do a flexi rod set or bantu knots and style it into a curly mohawk or all to one side...definitely want my hair away from my ears so the earrings can be showcased!
ReplyDeletefirst, let me just say the earrings are HAWT! now, with that said (lol)... I've got long locs so I'd pull my hair back into a nice fishtail braid and let the earrings speak for themselves...they're too pretty to be hidden!
ReplyDeleteI plan on wearing them with pride. Happy to support a Black Girl Who Rocks. All the best with your jewelry line....
ReplyDeletei love all of your new jewelry! even if i don't win, i might have to cop a pair anyway. but if i did win, i'd probably wear my hair up in a janelle monae-esque pompadour so that the attention would be drawn to my eyes and the earrings
ReplyDeleteI will hair my hair like a crown
ReplyDeletethe earrings its jeweled centerpiece.
No seriously now,
I have extensions as I am protective styling right now, so i will wear my curly braids in a high bun so that where the neck meets the shoulder blade s adorned with your jewelry.
i.e. PICK ME!
Love your entire collection, I will wear my hair in a simple updo, cos these earrings should be the center of attention, no distraction needed :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely in an updo with a pompadour at the front. I love Pangaea, so much attitude.
ReplyDeleteI will wear these with a bouffant updo when it's cold and dark to add some beauty to the day.
ReplyDeleteI have a turquoise pashmina that would match the earrings in aquamarine. I would use the pashmina as a headwrap, with my bangs sticking out as twist out and the ends of the scarf "two stand twisted" and wrapped around my crown like a halo. With my navy blue tank top, skinny jeans, my black bomber jacket and black knee highs I would look MIGHTY FLY! I know you only asked for a hair style but I have the whole look planned in my head lol.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog! I visit every day to see whats happening in MopTopMaven world:-)
ReplyDeleteI love these earrings especially in the Brick and Wheat and since Im 6mths natural I can rock them with a big bouncy wash and go, using suave [which i stopped to get today:-)]
I would honestly just wear my hair in the biggest, afro-puffiest, gigantic, voluminous 'fro I could do. More than likely I would accomplish this with a blow-out. I think those would look so great with a giant afro (and even though you didn't ask, some skinny jeans, a white tank and a brown leather motorcycle jacket when I get it! :->). They are absolutely beautiful, so even if I don't win them, I'll be purchasing them.
ReplyDeleteI plan on wearing my hair pulled up in a simple messy bun so that every aspect of creativity put into these earrings may illuminate. I would simply wear a plain white t-shirt and jeans to enhance the unique and edgy style these earrings have to offer.
ReplyDeleteThese finely crafted, bold, Africa-inspired earrings will be worn with nothing less than a finely crafted, bold, Africa-inspired Afro.
ReplyDeleteHola!!
ReplyDeleteThese earings are so funky and simply elegant. There are so many outfits that i can put together with them! Best of all they will go well with My black and white, 3 quarter length, tribal print skirt, a plain white shirt and my black blazer. I love the layered look but I want to make it simple so the earrings are showcased. My hair will be up in a bun with a side part. I currently live in South Korea and I am sure these earrings will attract a lot of attention compared to the rhinestone heart and stars earrings everyone is wearing here.
I'm getting kinky twists in a few weeks, so I'd rock them with my kinky twists put on my head in a bun, so the earrings get the attention! loving your line!
ReplyDeleteI would wear the earrings with my dreads rapped in a head rap to show off the beauty of the earrings. Or, because I recently dyed my dreads and adore the color, I would wear the earrings with my dreads fully braided into 2 parallel french braids.
ReplyDeleteI would rock the earrings with an updo. A french braid up the back with a twistout in the front. I would pin the twistout section to the side to create an elegant side-swept look
ReplyDeleteI want to style my hair similiar to the Janelle Monae hairstyle so the Earings can really POP out ;)
ReplyDeleteI would wear my hair in a quiff in the front and a the rest of my hair pulled back into a fish braid.
ReplyDeleteI would rock these bad earrings with one of my signature braid outs. I would have to pin back the sides to make sure that everyone would check these out and ask where did you get those beautiful earrings at. Making sure to drop the name of your new shop. I love all of your designs.
ReplyDeleteBecause the earrings are such a signature piece I would wear them with something simple enough to let the earrings stand out but intricate enough to show more sense of style. I would french braid my hair from back to front and pin and tuck at the front to add volume. I love your collection.
ReplyDeleteYour entire line is gorgeous, but I mainly had to comment to say I can't believe how much your hair has grown since I started following your blog in May!!!! Madness!!!
ReplyDeleteI would wear my hair pulled back to show the beauty of the earrings. Probably pulled back into a bun.
ReplyDeleteI would wear these beautiful earrings with my hair pulled back so the earrings will be seen. Also I would wear a white tank and my skinny jeans and some cute heels or boots.
ReplyDeleteteresa.diaz01@yahoo.com
My hair is still in its TWA stage with a decent amount of length, so I would wear these earrings with my hair in comb coils. This style frames and accentuates my face and would allow for the earrings to stand out and really be a statement piece.
ReplyDeleteI would wear these earrings with my hair styled in a twist out with a side part. My hair is short and almost stands straight up and out and when styled in a twist out, leaving my ears uncovered and allowing the earrings to be showcased. By the way, I absolutely love your earrings! They are so unique!
ReplyDeleteI'm bald, which I think would add only add to the allure of your earrings. Because I have no hair the earrings would stand out even more.
ReplyDeleteI would wear my hair in an updo so the earrings would not only be the showcase of my look but so they could compliment my beautiful natural hair! My updo would consist of a lovely french braid up the back of my hair, I would leave a portion of my hair out in the front so that I could create a twist out that would hang over for a funky look to go with these funky and fab earrings!
ReplyDeleteI would where those gorgeous with a high bun, because they really deserve to be seen.
ReplyDeleteYour collection is gorgeous, you will be rewarded for all the energy and passion you put into your work.
Thank you for all your positive energy!
Hyacintha
Im all about NECK!
ReplyDeleteSo since I don't have short hair, Id pull my hair up into a messy knot so that it sits on top of my head and match and wear an off the shoulder top so that there are no distractions from my neck to my shoulders.
the earrings against my chocolate skin.. flawless.simple.me.
:)
I would wear my hair in a lifted Bantu knot twist out. My hair falls right above my ears in this style and the earrings would carry on the fierceness through the neck to the shoulders. Absoulutely F-A-B!
ReplyDeleteKimberli F.
I have never commented. You are wildly talented. These are gorgeous!! I am in my 40s and wear my hair in a sophisticated natural very low cut. I never leave home without earrings! These would be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteElvira
since its snowing already here in Stockholm, I currently have my hair braided (protective style), so I will just tie my braids into a low bow at my nape and show off the earrings. The earrings are very beautiful by the way.
ReplyDeletei saw these earings and just imagined me with a wild afro, curls all over the place juxtaposed to these refined and classy earings. The sleek lines against the wreckless curls would look amazing!
ReplyDeletemissdeeplyrooted.blogspot.com
I would rock my signature curly fro. I love the freedom and ease of this style. The earrings would really set it off!!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your jewelry line. The contrasting colors make them so versatile.
ReplyDeleteI am known for my signature part in the middle. My hair has a natural curly texture so in the summer I would wash my hair and use my favorite Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner. A wash and go frizzless style would look amazing with theses earrings. When I go to work my clothes are very tailored, and conservative. My office uniform is a fitted below the knee pencil skirt, lightweight colorful silk blouse and a high platform pumps. So with my conservative work look, I would flatiron my hair straight and wear loose beach waves. The earrings would really complete the look.
The great thing about this contest is... even if I don't win, I can still order my favorite pair. (Aquamarine)
these stunners need to be seen so i would wear my hair in a twist-out or bantu knot-out with the one side pinned back... i definitely would want a look that says look at me, i'm confident, bold, fashionable and smart!
ReplyDeleteI would wear my hair up in a festive colored turban to accent the colors of your earrings!
ReplyDeleteIn the back, I would french braid my hair up towards the crown of my head. From there I would use the remaining loose hair to create an elegant high bun. I would finish the look off with a decorative hair feather (think 1950's glam) and these gorgeous earrings.
ReplyDeleteI would wear these earrings with a chunky twist out in celebration of reaching my next personal fitness goal.
ReplyDeleteI would wear my big faux pleasedontsitinfrontof me afro puff ponytail.
ReplyDeleteI love these earrings! And I normally don't wear big earrings (I feel like my head is tiny lol) but I really like these! Since I have a short TWA I would most likely do a wash and go and use some KKCC to make it really curly. Then I would apply some light make-up with a neutral lip and let the earrings do the rest! =D
ReplyDeleteI see me wearing this earrings with a natural twist set or a west African patterned hair scarf for the opening Kwanzaa celebration this season :oD
ReplyDeleteI envision myself with a fierce braid 'n curl, pinned up in the back, a swoop in the front slightly covering my left eye, a few wispy tendrils on the side, natural makeup up and glistening lips--ready for a night on the town!
ReplyDeleteI would wear these with a twisted updo, ( about 20 medium twist pinned up and towards the middle) that is how I imagined myself when I first saw them!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the ivory/navy set of earrings you have highlighted on the frontpage of your blog. I would wear them with a navy/ivory sweater I own. The earrings would tie my entire outfit together. I know they would be the center of attention! I’m so excited just thinking about them.
ReplyDeleteAs for my hair, I would do a twist out on my smedium twa. (It's not exactly a twa anymore!)
I would wear my hair BIG and BOLD!! A funky twist out (with lots of love and moisture of course)!! These earrings would add that splash of color that would complete my hairstyle!
ReplyDeleteI love love love these... oh man!
I've said this before, but I LOVE your jewelry, as soon as I get off this shopping diet I'm hitting you up! AND I'm adding F&M to my Christmas wish list (and I'm grown, lol). SMH.
ReplyDeleteFor the giveaway. I would rock these with a mini-twist style with some bangs hanging in the front, the rest of the hair swooped to the side for a low, messy bun. I know these will add so much character to an outfit! I'm already thinking of the styling options. I am picturing me wearing them with a one-piece printed jumper for one fully styled example.
Peace,
Monique

I have been told by many people that they like it better when my face is not hidden under my hair. Now that I have very short hair (yeah shrinkage !) I have learn to appreciate my face more. I would wear theses earring with an shrunken afro or with a classic bun if I have my braids on. So that my face and the earring shine through...
ReplyDeleteLoving the colors of these earrings!! So, I'll definitely rock twists put in a bun, perhaps with a pompadour in front. I love putting my hair back to show off my face...and these earrings would be the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteI see myself rocking this with a funky twist up style with lots of curls and flair. By putting the excess of hair up and forward the earrings are sure to pop as they should. Great products!
ReplyDeleteI would wear these with a huge fluffy braidout!
ReplyDeleteI'm rollersetting for the winter. So big, bouncy curls; parted in the middle. Wearing an off-white dress with my turquoise sandals (in Florida). Can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteWhat color pink lipstick is this??
ReplyDeleteactually these earring would be for my best friend Rose. her birthday is 4 days after mine and i think she deserves to have beautiful, funky earrings. Knowing Rose, she would wear these whenever her hair is having a great day, preferably with a well moisturized twist- out with small clips,or a funky pompadour :)
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to branch out more & experiment with bolder styles. I think a great Janelle Monae-like pompadour would look perfect with these earrings!
ReplyDeleteHi Nikole:)
ReplyDeleteThese earings would compliment my boho chic style and a fluffy twist-out.
Oh, I love the White and Aquamarine! If I don't win them I'll buy them as a present to myself :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to wear them with a chic bun!
I would wear my hair in a french braid tucked-in in the back with bouncy, retro curls in the front.
ReplyDeleteI love all the earrings but I must admit my heart skips a couple more beats for the Pangaea White & Aquamarine. Love your jewelry.

OMG I just saw the earrings again and I decided that I would rock these with a curly mohawk. I would achieve this look by setting my hair up in bantu knots, 3 on each side. Since I am transitioning, I love the way my hair looks with tight curls, curled all the way to the ends. I would then braid or twist up the sides and pull a few curls over my forehead. Do real dramatic eyes and light lips for a GREAT facial contrast. See I have plans for your jewelry already. GREAT JOB. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BECAUSE I LOVE EVERY PIECE.
ReplyDeleteHey, I would rock my twist in a funky, big and voluminous do! Those fly earrings would come shining through.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is a source of inspiration. Thanks!!
I think I can wear these with any style, but I love how you are rocking them in the pic. So I'll have to bite your style a bit, and rock them with my hair pulled back on the sides.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, adore your new jewelery line.. It would be perfect with a twist-out with two small braids in the front and pinned in my hair..Since I am really loving the blue white earrings.. I would wear simple jeans and a white t-shirt..accent it with my gold necklace with angel wings as a pendant and gold bangles..with these gold flats that I have...I would let the earrings be the star of the WHOLE outfit..OMG it would be kick-ass if I won a pair of those babies!!
ReplyDeleteI want to try a blowout braidout like you did... I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteI love these so much . . . I'd probably wear these with my hair up in a bun to show them off. & IMO hoops look best when my hair is pulled up :)
ReplyDeleteignoring all the dangers of single strand knots... i would have to rock a shake'n'go :)
ReplyDeletelove the earring but i want to know what on your lips that color is very pretty
ReplyDeleteI plan to wear my hair in a big, funky, wild, curly fro pinned up in the back to accentuate the earrings.
ReplyDeleteWhen I win these beauts, I will sport a fro-hawk to display all their glory and awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteI will wear my hair in fro! Especially since I haven't worn it out in over two months :D
ReplyDeleteI've been fighting my bangs for the past three months. I think I will embrace them and wear a sleek straight style so the turquoise hoops will pop!
ReplyDeleteIf I had these earrings I will wear them right after I BC to accentuate my new look and to celebrate my natural hair! I'm currently 15 months post and these earring would be the perfect celebration piece!
ReplyDeleteThe earrings would help accentuate the beauty of my TWA. I would wear them with confidence and honor. The colors would probably help highlight the color of my TWA as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm Loving the blue and white ones!! sick! but i'd probally wear my hair in the poof ball..or my twist out with my hair pulled back.. or as everyone at my work called it "that grace jones look" hairstyle lol..
ReplyDeleteI will probably wear my hair curly w/ 2 twist on each side pulled to the back & pinned together or my hair in a curly ponytail.
ReplyDeleteI will wear jeans & a white top...the earrings speak for themselves, they will make a simple outfit fabulous :-)
I wear rock these with a low messy side bun. These are HOT. These earrings need to be admired on ME! LOL (but real talk) :o)
ReplyDeleteWhen I get these earrings I'll wear my hair in a updo to show off the style of the earring.
ReplyDeleteSynethia
I would wear my hair pulled up to show the classiness of the earrings!! Guaranteed to get tons of compliments on these babies!
ReplyDeleteI love love these earringss!!! To make these earrings stand out, I would wear my hair would be in a twist out bang to the side while also having a french braid updo style going across in the back :-)
ReplyDeleteI would wear my hair pulled back in a ponytail, in order to showcase the earrings.
ReplyDeleteI like the F&M page on FB @Vanessa Lynn

Ugh! I couldn't wait. Just purchased a pair on F&M! lol. Can't wait to rock 'em!
ReplyDeleteThose earrings are beautiful! I have a twa, so I would rock them with my afro pinned up slightly on one side.
ReplyDeleteI love love love these earrings! They should be the center of attention, so I would wear them with a sleek, simple ponytail!
ReplyDeleteWith those gorgeous earrings I would do a slightly loose, high messy bun on a 2 or 3 day old twistout with a flat twist in the front of my head as a sort of 3/4 head band (kind of how Jada Pinkett Smith wore her hair for the Black Women in Hollywood ad in Essence's July 2010 issue...gorgeous!)
ReplyDeleteYour line is fab. I would wear my hair in a side fish tail braid, and rock the great earrings!
ReplyDeleteElam
ReplyDeleteI came across a video by the musical artist Lola Monroe, i didn't know who she was, but loved the hairstyle she had.

My hair is natural, probably about the 4b texture and just shorter than my shoulders. Using her hairstyle as inspiration, I'm going to twist my hair (medium to small size) curl it and use hair pins, to pin it down at the back and sides, allowing some of my hair to drop to the front.
I have a simple brass hair clip and i'll ware it with the hairstyle.
So that's how i'd wear my hair with your earrings :-)
OM Jeezy! I am so diggin' these bad boys and yes, I said bad boys! A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon you via YT (of course, I subbed), got to your blog & BOOM...my life has now been changed forever. I'm a sucka for natural products, ayurvedic methods, and self expression. I love your line but have a particular affection for these earrings and the color...man, oh man...the color. As of late I've been rocking a lot of Blue hues and muted tone, so I was enamored with the sharp contrast between the colors and materials.
ReplyDeleteI would rock a perfectly coifed updo to accentuate the Pangaea hoop earrings, of course.
Updo Deets:
After a much needed deep conditioning and herbal rinse, I would add a braid out to the mix for dimension and texture.
Parting the "braid-ed out"--> coined phrase, tresses from the center of the crown down to the nape, creating 3 sections (bang section and 2 sides).
Carefully rolling the newly separated side sections upward towards the bang section and pinning the 2 sections into respective french rolls. Leaving the bangs for last, roll the bangs over (aka backwards, towards the 2 ends of the french roll). Pinning and fluffing to obtain desired height for a dramatic effect. Minimal makeup and a killer smile will seal the deal!
Thanks MTM!
