A big thank you to everyone who complimented me on my head-wrap I wore in this post!! I simply used an old scarf I purchased from Forever 21, and began to wrap until I found a style I liked. The scarf is roughly 3 yards and I find that it is the perfect length to achieve this look. You can also use scraps of fabric as well! I'm thinking this would be hot utilizing African Wax Prints!
umm...I'm so not going to talk about the scarf right now...lolol....your skin looks amazing! Are you wearing nars super orgasm blush in this picture, or is this picture without make-up?
Hello!! I did the headwrap!! I tried to post a pic on it on my comment but I can't for some reason*but here is the link below).... Thanks so much for the tutorial!!!
I will have to try this. I have that exact same scarf, but I'm mad I paid about $13 for it at Target. Too bad my city didn't have a Forever 21. They have great scarves that are reasonably priced.
You are incredibly fabulous, and I've been picking up a lot of helpful tips from you through my natural journey (and a lot of other things in life lately!) I love your head wraps, and was wondering if you could show us how you do the E.Badu style. This could be it, it just looked a tad different and I'd love to try them all out! Thanks!
So pretty! You look like you're straight out of Egypt with your head wrapped like that. This cultural style looks so good on you! Thanks for the tutorial.
I tie scarfs as well but I do mine the other way round i.e. put the scarf on from the front of your head rather than the back. This gives you a smooth front with a bulk at the back.
Thanks for the tutorial. I rocked this style today since my hair was a hot mess! Very simple and stylish. Makes me want to run out and buy more scarves. Thanks a bunch.
You just gave me an amazing idea. I have a wax that has been sitting in my closet for the last 3 years! My sister sent it to me from back home.....ohhhhh I iz going to be gowjas *insert Lafayette's voice*
Thank you, Nik! Breathtakingly beautiful!!!
