Shawls & Scarves over your frohawk, try this one from American Apparel.
One of my fav LHCF members; "Black Masterpiece" shows you how to create a frohawk, similar to this one!
Lace scarves as head wraps; try this one from Urban Outfitters for a fun take on it.
Who doesn't love ethnic prints? Asos has them for cheap!
Funky floral patterns
My personal favorite; playing with color!
Play with your hair color too!
Bold colors & harem pants; two of my fav trends right now!

ReplyDeletethe lace scarf is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am infatuated with picture number 4. The earthy colors are mythical and vibrant. They remind me of the Sade video by your side. So majestic!!!

I love the make-up on the 3rd girl and her hair is styled just right. knowing myself I'd attempt wearing bold make-up like that just for fun. hahaa! I wish I could keep a Frohawk all day, but my hair reacts very weird with natural sunlight; it curls from moisture, and I don't like spraying my hair with holding spray...I'm working on taming a frohawk. lol!
ReplyDeleteI also love playing with bold colors and creating a spicy outfit, It's always fun especially bold colors and dramatic prints.
Great inspiration photos.

ReplyDeleteI know this doesn't have anything to do with the post, but seeing these pictures reminded of when I started wearing my curly instead of pressed and my classmates asked me how "we" got our hair in an afro LOL. I know, random. Love your blog, keep posting.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite posts. Thanks for the inspiration. I love the scarf ideas, might try this soon.
