I received a few emails & comments from some of my readers inquiring about my profession. I am a Jewelry Designer based in Los Angeles, and do mostly custom work. Last week, I promised some of you that I would post a few pieces; well here they are! All jewelry is handmade by me using 14K gold materials, and semi precious stones! I hope you enjoy :-)
What a cool job, those pieces are very nice.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, love the craftsmanship & attention to detail. On average, how long does it take you to complete a piece?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Do you sale them online as well?
ReplyDelete@Alexandria Thank you Alexandria!
ReplyDelete@BeautyXchangeGirl Thank you very much!! It usually takes me anywhere from 6-8 hours to several days to complete one. Sometimes I am not satisfied with where it is going, so I step away from it for a few days. Or there are times that they turn out crappy, and I have to scrap the project and start over. I enjoy it though, it is therapeutic, and I enjoy looking at (and sometimes wearing the finished pieces)!
ReplyDelete@Mrs. Denga Thank you! Not as of yet. I will in the very near future though. Since most of my pieces are made in a very limited run, it is hard for me to maintain consistent stock.
ReplyDeleteThat is something I am definitely working on in the future :-)
i love your pieces & your blog :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the comments!

ReplyDeleteI love your work, you seem so organized and professional. I also make jewelry and would like to sell it more and turn it into a full-time business. Do you have any advice on how to stay focused, organized and gaining/retaining customers.
